Sunday Prayer @ PCF 9.40am  Would you Like prayer support? Before church each Sunday you can have prayer at 9.40am with the PCF Elders in the Youth Hall.  The PCF Elders are also able to visit you at home to pray for you and support you.  Please speak to Ken, Vijay, Tiko, Bruce or John.

New PCF Sermon Series - 1 Thessalonians On 16th Aug we’re beginning a new PCF Book of the Year series - 1st Thessalonians. We’ll be studying this book verse by verse learning about having persevering faith and living a holy life, until Christ returns! Speak to a PCF Elder to find out more. Father's Day Sunday 6th Sept We'd love you to join us for this special service of encouragement and building up of the fathers at PCF, and to honour our own fathers and those who are like fathers to us. Please stay on for the special morning tea.

Saturday Girls Coffee Group 10.30am Saturday Girls is a casual get together on the 1st Saturday of the month at 10.30am at a local café for friendship & faith over coffee & cake.  Check on the Saturday Girls page for the next cafe location or speak to one of the PCF Women’s Ministry team for more info – Diana, Lela, Amanda, Dianne or Narina.

Young Adults Games Night Tues 22nd Sept 7pm @ PCF Come along with your friends to our upcoming social night! Do you have some young adults in your life who are becoming interested in faith?? Speak to one of our YA leaders for more info - Mike, Noa, Josh, Elias, Paul, Maryanne, Anya & Alanna. Please keep this ministry in your prayers.

Men’s Breakfast Sat 19th Sept 7.30am A great time together with delicious food is planned for the men of PCF. We encourage you to invite your friends, workmates, neighbours or family members to this men's event. All ages welcome. $10 per person. Please speak to Vijay or Michael to book.

CMCT Annual Dinner & Quiz Fundraiser Sat 10 Oct 6pm Book your spot at the PCF Quiz Team table.  This excellent night out is held at St Margaret’s Church Hillsborough (car pool available).  Bookings essential ($40pp/$30 kids/students advanced bookings. PCF’s Got Talent - Dinner & a Show Sat 17th Oct 6pm @ PCF  Mark your calendar, we’re having a fun night out for all the family. We’ll have a shared dinner at 6pm (please bring a plate of mains & dessert), then we’ll go through to the chapel for a night of entertainment at 7pm.  This is a chance for home groups, friends, families, guys, girls, kids to put together an item to entertain and bless your PCF family and friends! Maybe you can bring a song, dance, skits, dad jokes, spoken word Bible reading, record breaking ‘men on guitars’ items, cultural items, poetry readings - anything to share your talents, bless the audience and bring glory to God!   Start inviting your friends and family now and find the sign up sheet in the front foyer to book your spot. Coming Up - 2026 Light Party Sat 31st Oct 6.30pm  Our Annual Light Party is on again! As part of our PCF outreach to our neighbourhood, we're going to have a fun halloween alternative for the children of our community. We 'd love you to be involved and to pray for our community as we prepare to share the gospel with them. You can join in this ministry with: baking, kitchen help, waiters, Sat set up, registration table, carnival stall holder, table conversations, inviting friends, lolly donations etc etc. Please chat with John & Amanda, Ken & Diana if you would like to be part of this outreach ministry.

Good News Club Our neighbourhood kids outreach Good News Club has started! Please pray and talk with Ken to get involved. It will be run in our youth hall on Fridays 3.00-4.30pm by Andrew Mann from CEF.  Let’s pray for our neighbourhood children that they and their parents would come to faith in Jesus!

Gospel Community Church Outreach Ministry Church Plant Gospel Community Church Outreach Ministry PCF along with Amatakiloa Gospel Church and Papatoetoe Bible Church have been asked by Stewards Trust and CCCNZ to form a board and work together to plant a new church. We’d love you to be part of this Gospel outreach! We invite you to come along. We plan to start weekly 4pm services from Sun 18 Oct. Garage Op Ministry Team Opportunity Please pray and ask the Lord if he would like to you serve as a volunteer or step into the role as manager on Tues and/or Fri 10am-2pm.  Please speak to Ken if you feel that this is a role the Lord would like you to serve in.

Garage Op Shop Donations Please Do you have any good condition, clean, saleable household items, home decor, toys, jigsaw puzzles, books, sports equipment etc?  The Garage Op Shop would love your donations. We are not able to accept AC powered electrical items, large furniture/items, open/used hygiene/underware. Speak to Diana for more info.  The Garage Op Shop is open Tues & Fri 10am-2pm with lots of people from the community coming in for a browse or conversation. 

Food Bank Donations  If you would like to donate non-perishable food items please pop them in the box on Sundays or drop them off to the church office Tues & Fri 10am-2pm. Please Note: We do not run a food bank at PCF.  Donated items are collected and dropped off to support a local food bank.

Food Bank Thanks  We have received thanks and an update on your donations to the PCF Food Bank Box. Your donations were taken to a local foodbank at Howick Baptist Church. (They support and help families in the local Howick/Eastern area). In December 2025 alone 23 families (40 adults, 25 teens, 26 children) were helped by the HBC Foodbank. They don’t receive any government or outside help and are fully reliant on the generosity of people like yourselves to sustain this ministry. “We really appreciate your blessings and give God all the praise, your sister in Christ Jane Davis Foodbank coordinator for Howick Baptist Church”. Children, Youth & Young Adult News

Kids Church Preschool Class Our PCF Kids Church preschool runs in the kids play room off the front foyer at the same time as the 5yrs+ Kids Church in the back hall.  Mums & Dads, grandparents, aunties and uncles we now have a special program for your preschoolers to help them learn about our amazing God.  When you see the Kids Church announcement later after worship, primary school kids can go out to the youth hall and preschoolers can head off to the play room.  Thank you to Janine and Wati for leading this great preschoolers program.

Kids Church @ PCF Our kids church have their great teaching program after worship each Sunday.  We'd love you to join us.

Transform Youth  If you're 12ys+ we'd love you to join us every Monday during the school term.  Our term program is a mix Bible study and social nights.  Spread the word and bring your friends.  Please talk to Ken, Michael or Mattie for more info, visit our Transform Youth Page or find a flyer in the PCF entry foyer.

Small Group News

Monday Girl’s Bible Study - Mondays 7.30pm The Monday Girls Bible Study are starting a new study called ‘The Good News! The Bible & It’s Message’. We’ll be learning all about the message of our amazing Bible from creation to the new Heavens & Earth. We’d love you join us every Monday at 7.30pm.  Contact the church office for more info.

Prayer Group - Tuesdays  Each Tues afternoon a group of dedicated prayers meet to pray for PCF.  Contact the church office for more info.

Senior Saints Home Group - Wednesdays The Senior Saints group invites you to come along and join them.  They're studying the Doctrines of the Christian Faith.  They meet fortnightly on Wednesdays at 1.30pm  Please speak to Bruce or Nerida for more information

Men’s Bible Study - Thursdays 7.15pm  Guys of all ages are welcome to come along to our Men's Bible Study on Thursday nights at 7.15pm.  We follow along with our Sunday morning teaching topics. This gives us a great opportunity to study a bit deeper or ask questions to gain greater understanding.  Please speak to Pastor Ken for more info.
